Chris Almond, Partner
Chris Almond has been with Davis, Daignault, Schick & Co. for over 15 years. With a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, Chris is a seasoned accounting professional with more than 22 years in the industry. He is a member of the Alberta and Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Chris focuses on tax matters, and prides himself on providing prompt attention to his clients.
Walter H. Reimer, Partner
Walter H. Reimer is the managing partner and has been with DDS since 1970. Since receiving his Chartered Accountant designation in 1976, Walter has grown with the firm and has extensive experience with automotive dealerships and the agricultural sector. Walter is a member of the Alberta and Canadian Institutes of Chartered Accountants and resides near Carstairs, where he farms with his wife.
Rick Laycock, Partner
Rick Laycock has been with DDS since 2001. With a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, Rick received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1994 and is a member of the Alberta and Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to joining DDS, Rick articled with an international CA firm in the early 90's, followed by a period with a local mid-sized accounting firm. Rick provides assurance, accounting, tax, and advisory services. His practice is focused on owner-manager private businesses and non-profit organizations, and he has advised many start-up companies on how to incorporate, set up their share structure, pay themselves, and keep adequate accounting records.
Rick prides himself on great service and common-sense advice at reasonable prices. In his spare time, you'll find Rick playing hockey, coaching, or on the golf course in the summer.
