CONSUMER INSOLVENCY QUERY BOARD
Each country has specific laws dealing with Insolvency. In Canada, the federal Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act governs the administration of Consumer Proposals and Bankruptcies. In addition, provincial laws also affect the administration of the bankruptcy process.
